Blue Cares: 2019 Community Recap So Far

Community Recap

Blue Cares takes pride in assisting and providing services to underprivileged and at-risk children and their families throughout San Antonio year-round. Each year, that number of children and families grows, which makes Blue Cares programs that more essential. Blue Cares has already begun raising money and giving back to the community through the following.

2019 Blue Cares Scholarship Dinner & Ceremony

In May, the 2019 Blue Cares Scholarship winners were announced and treated to dinner at Alamo Café with their parents. $16,000 in scholarship checks were awarded to 12 graduating high school students in honor of Officer Patricia Calderon, the first female San Antonio Police Officer killed in the line of duty.
