Our Blue Cares programs are not possible without the big-hearted donors and volunteers that come from all around San Antonio. Because of their generosity, we are able to provide support and happy surprises to underprivileged children throughout the city. Blue Santa is one of our oldest giving programs, and because it’s right around the corner, we could use the help of charitable locals like you!
By donating money or new, unwrapped toys, you join with the men and women of the San Antonio Police Officers Association in helping our community’s most underprivileged, low income and at-risk children by providing toys and clothes through our Blue Santa program. The Blue Santa Program was created in 1976 and is all about bringing hope and joy to families that struggle to make ends meet during the holidays. During the month of December, San Antonio Police Officers, volunteers, and Blue Santa himself, work hard to deliver collected canned goods, clothes, toys, and monetary donations to these underprivileged children and their families. Police officers are here to serve. Sometimes that means giving a little happiness to children whose families may be in tough financial circumstances.
