Thanks to the generosity of the San Antonio community and dozens of volunteers, our Blue Santa Program made sure deserving children in the Alamo City had a bright Christmas! In December of 2022, more than 1,300 kids opened gifts from Blue Santa!
2022 Blue Santa by the Numbers
In 2022, we hosted 9 in-person toy distribution events instead of one drive-through pick up for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. Our goal of making the Blue Santa Program more accessible to the people we serve came to fruition through the support and partnership of several San Antonio City Council Members including District 3 Councilwoman Phyllis Viagran, District 4 Councilwoman Dr. Adriana Rocha Garcia, District 6 Councilwoman Melissa Cabello Havrda, and District 8 Councilman Manny Pelaez.

In addition, Blue Santa increased the number of community nonprofits, churches, agencies, and organizations we assisted to 19 up from 16 served in 2021.
